The party is over and it was good, I think. There were 14 children and the same number of grown-ups. Fortunately, not all of them were there at the same time. The kids did pretty well, no fights, the grown-ups didn't fight either.

The cake is almost gone. Some people even had seconds. I didn't make anything else except hummus. There was some good cheese, bread and crackers, baby carrots and some fruit.

The weather finally has started to feel like spring. I had the backdoor open all morning as I was getting ready. My husband brought a flat of pansies from the market and some of the children potted up some pansies. There are still many left and I think I may put them in my window-boxes tomorrow. (It is such hassle to get to the boxes because I have to remove the child-guard).

I set a table up in my laundry room with arts supplies. I put caps on the open markers and glues sticks, but otherwise that room is still a battle zone. Tomorrow.  12:04:45 AM
