A Couple Thoughts

I wasn't entirely sure why the Vikings fired Mike Tice as head coach...but now I know:  In their latest commercial, the creepy-looking Burger King guy ran for a touchdown against the Vikings defense.  When a fast food mascot can run for a touchdown against you, your team needs new leadership.  (Actually, the ad was cruel.  The Vikes' defense was pretty good last year.)

The Fred Barnes book declaring that President George W. Bush, by being more of a tool of entrenched corporate interests than any President in history, is somehow a rebel (against what?) and that he might--might--be inferior to George Washington...is currently at #148 on amazon.com.  No word on how many photographs of the President with Jack Abramoff are in the book.  But no lobbyists were harmed in the writing of it.
