Quote for the Day, 2/15/2006

"I've never been there

But I know the way.

I'm going to go back there

Someday."

-Gonzo, "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday"

What can I say?  I love The Muppet Movie.

Grandaddy-Pull the Curtains  Grandaddy reminds me of the indie rock kings, Built to Spill.  Which is very, very high praise.  And I love how the singer sings the word "day".

Belated Quote for the Day, 2/14/2006

"As pretty as you are, you know you could be a flower.

If good looks was a minute, you know you could be an hour.

The way you stole my heart, you know you could be a cool crook.

And baby, you’re so smart, you know you could’ve been a school book."

-Smokey Robinson and Robert Rodgers, "The Way You Do the Things You Do"

More Hunting Trips

I used to think that Justice Antonin Scalia taking vacations with Vice President Cheney allowed the Vice President to exercise undue influence on judicial opinions where the Vice President had a stake.  But I'm big enough to admit I'm wrong.  I think those two should go hunting together many, many more times.
