writes 8 poems for above chapbook (edited and completed, waiting for book assembly)
cooks various curries and vegetable casseroles
writes another poem for the Newcastle Project, and shares it here (after much image readying and posting):
Summer Recipe
Be more naked
eat juicy fruit sloppy
drink sangria and iced coffee
nap in the heat of the day
walk at sunrise, twilight and in moonlight.
Do everything long and slow:
eat, sleep, read, bathe, swim, make love
Live for now with flowers, butterflies and birds
store up sunny memories to pull out in the dead of winter
relax and pass the hot days with ease.
