Today’s Topic: The Stupidity of John McCain
I’m sorry, but my first thought about John McCain’s little "jaunt" through a market in Baghdad was that retaliation was going to take place, and here, one single day after that jaunt 21 Shia market workers were bound, terrorized and murdered.
Perhaps it isn’t the best thing to try to show Americans how well things are going in Iraq because things are definitely not going well in Iraq. They are not going well for us Americans and they are not going well for the Iraqi people.
This is the best example of why we have to get our troops out of Iraq. We’re not talking about running away, but running towards the ability of the Iraq people to make the determination to choose freedom.
Geez, if we had half a heart we’d bust butt out of that country and allow them to solve their own problems. But no, Nancy Pelosi gets lambasted by the President and the right wing for going to talk to Syria whilst John McCain gets kudos for walking through a Baghdad market with 100 troops providing security with the result being 21 Iraqi people being killed.
Please, John, don’t stop by my house on your way back to the Senate.
Is it just me or is John McCain about to bust a gusset? I don’t believe he any longer has a hold on reality. Talk about Freudian slips, the statement about why the Republicans lost the "war, er, majority" pretty much tells the tale.
John is a personal hero of mine, much like David Hackworth, but the truth be known, John should probably stick with being the Senator from Arizona rather than trying to be the President of the United States. We already have a confused White House. We don’t need to continue it for another 4 years. Assuming, of course, that John could possibly win the election, which he no longer is able to do.
I’m sorry John. Drop out now and save what is left of your humanity.
