Self-Portrait [Confounded]
My apologies for being an absentee blogger. For the first time in my life, words have escaped me. I'm sick of being stuck with words like great, terrific, bad, very, totally, blue, red, hilarious. I want my grown-up words back. I also want to get past the their/there/they're, farther/further, affect/effect, comma/semi-colon, inside/outside parenthesis, dash/ellipsis problems that seem to have snuck up on me from out of nowhere. Then spelling? Fuck Spelling! It has been a thorn in my side since I misspelled the word "friend" in a third grade spelling bee. So I say to you once again without any apology... FUCK spelling! I have other more salient things to worry about.
I will hopefully exit this fog sooner rather than later, but I am not guaranteeing anything. If I have learned one thing in the recent past, it is to refrain from making any further blog-related promises.
