something a little morningcheery. Well -- my goodness.
That was two crabby posts in a row. If you're just happening upon this blog, you're probably wondering why Oscar the Grouch decided to start writing for the web.
Actually, I would totally read Oscar's blog. Who doesn't want to know about life in a trash can?
I love Muppets.
But I digress.
Here, for you, this morning, are the top 20 things that make me laugh (whether like a brazen idiot, or simply with a mild chuckle -- and in no particular order):
- The Daily Show
- String Cheese
- Bill Murray
- Startled kittens
- Noises chairs make that sound like tiny farts
- When Kermit the Frog goes "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!" and flings his flippers around
- David Sedaris
- Engrish.com
- Roller Coasters
- Trying not to laugh
- The sound of pants ripping at the back seam
- Gilda Radner and old SNL
- Hockey pool message boards
- Playing Pictionary with people who absolutely cannot draw ("That's a horse." "What??")
- Listening to a little kid trying to tell a joke -- especially when they totally mess up the punchline
- Dancing like Molly Ringwald at Vancouver hotspots (because why would you do anything else?)
- Making an uncooked turkey breakdance on a countertop
- The whole state of Minnesota
- Doing improv in front of a crowd -- alone, with no planning
- You guys!
Feel free to tell a joke in the comments today. Happy Friday -- and I promise to post like a normal Meg this weekend (I just heard my poor mother sigh with relief all the way over here...).
