it's raining men. While I was standing on the bus today, riding home from work, a middle-aged mentally-challenged man sidled cheerfully up to me and asked with a big grin, "Do you like the rain?"
I didn't want to dampen -- pun intended -- his enthusiasm, so I replied, "Sure, I do. It's not too bad."
His smile disappeared, his eyes narrowed, and he put a hand on his hip.
"Then I hope you get soaked, dumb girl!"
"That's not a very nice thing to say."
"I'm just telling you, rain lover."
We sure could use some sunshine out here.
