wednesday foolishness.

So.

  1. What's one thing you're actually looking forward to today?
  2. What's one thing you're NOT actually looking forward to today?
  3. What's one word you'd use to describe your mood right now?
  4. If I asked that same question of the people around you, what would they tell me your mood is?
  5. Want a cookie?

7:13:35 AM    well, yes, but...  []

nub.

That's tomorrow's topic.

Love.

It's going to be epic.

But before then, ten things I loved (at least at some point or another) today, just to get you in the mood...
  1. Donny Hathaway, Les Sans Culottes, Feist, and Chopin. I guess that's cheating, putting them all in one category. But perhaps it's not so much them I loved, but the sweet feeling they gave me.

  2. Buying Catherine her first pair of Havianas. You need some if you don't have any already. Mine lasted me TWO YEARS. Whoa! Foot freedom AND financial responsibility!

  3. I love me the passionate folks, but I also love me the moderate folks: the think-before-they-speak set. You know -- one of those people I'll never quite manage to be. Today, I was in love with tact.

  4. I love the sound of gulls screeching near the shore, and how much of a place that sound has in aural memories of my childhood.

  5. I love sunshine in Vancouver and how celebrated and unexpected it seems to have become as of late.

  6. I love fizzy things.

  7. I love words that make me laugh out loud, words that make me cry quietly, and words that irritate me so badly that indignation brings roses to my cheeks. At least you know you're alive, right?

  8. I love that I ran out of time to do this tonight because I was having a marvelous few hours with friends, eating pizza and giggling and figuring out the world.

  9. I love making up when things have been stupid.

  10. I love that what I love is a list that could never possibly end at ten.
