potatoes and petulance. Those are the two greatest gifts that I have received from my Irish heritage.
Well, if you ignore my rosy complexion and odd love for telling long, drawn-out tales with little point.
Here's to everyone else of Irish descent -- a limerick for you....

Eh... I'll do better later.
- What is the condition of your ideal bed? Firm mattress? Lots of pillows? Quilts? Blankets? Tell us about it.
- Is the overly-thin young celebrity thing getting to you?
- Any good weekend plans?
- What one song did you want played/did you play/do you want played at your wedding?
- Do you believe in the literary canon? Are some works and authors more "important?"
- Do you relish or despise keeping secrets?
- Have you ever emailed something to a co-worker that you immediately regretted sending?
- Are you wearing perfume or cologne right now? What kind?
- Have you cried in the past two weeks?
- How are you going to support my Irishness today?
