cheap, money-grubbing tart.That's me!
Woohoo!
Yes, I've added ads to my site.
This is obviously a topic of great controversy all over the blog world (although you could actually say the same thing about every notion from progressive parenting to the state of Tara Reid's bosom.)
Some people decry monetization as the ultimate selling-out of what should be a "pure form", while others would support bloggers who write for a living (or don't!) in doing what they can to make an extra bit of cash here and there.
I adore blogging, and I don't do it for the money. But I'm also working on a budding (burgeoning? bubbling? badass?) freelance career in addition to my day job as a writer, part of which centres on this little blog and my new (cliche alert! under construction...) web site here.
So. I signed up to post a few ads, in the hopes that a penny or two might bolster my opportunities and options as time goes on.
If you have concerns with it, drop me a line. If you don't have concerns with it, well... you know what to do...
Oh! One more thing: all my Amazon ads will be for products I actually have used or use!
Ask me if you're curious about how something works. I'll let you know...

sunday morning.

This is where I am. Where are you?
Please note:
- Muffin: Blueberry-Raspberry Bran
- Martin the iBook (slightly crooked from birth)
- Quinn the iPod Mini (recharging)
- Grande latte from indie coffee shop
- Silver Nalgene with lemon water
- Kristy (former roommate) and her extra-large laptop (doesn't it make Martin look little?)
After a long week (I worked yesterday, too...) a little coffeeshop action is just what a girl needs.
