This one's for Nancy who's learning the joys of HTML.

Bloginality

I took this test and came out as an ISTP which is interesting because when I took the Myers-Briggs test many years ago I was an INTJ.  I can't put too much faith into my new classification because it's based on 4 questions that I didn't neccessarily agree completely with where as the M-B test was a many question affair that was more black and white, and besides, the test was administered by an HR specialist.  Back then I was so one-sidedly INT and close to the border J which is funny because I think I am judgemental.  Can your personality change that much after 20 years?  I'm older and wiser, made mistakes and recognized them, sought help when I needed it, made changes when necessary.  Better living through (perscription) chemistry.  People do change for better or worse, in my case hopefully for the better.  Still I'm going to throw out the outliers and call myself an "IT".  Shit, I've been neutered!  I new I shouldn't have gone to that new doctor.

ISTP (Introvert, Sensor, Thinker, Perceiver)
People of this type tend to be: logical, pragmatic, and matter of fact; quiet, unassuming, and autonomous; realistic, pragmatic, and aloof; impulsive and curious about the physical world; flexible and resourceful; objective and unemotional.
The most important thing to ISTPs is the freedom to act independently and follow their impulses. (apparently extremely pragmatic since it's listed twice)

INTJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Thinker, Judger)
People of this type tend to be: autonomous, aloof, and intellectual; imaginative, innovative, and unique; critical, analytical, and logical; intellectually curious, driven to learn and increase their competence and knowledge; socially cautious and reserved; organized and definitive. (but apparently not pragmatic)
The most important thing to INTJs is their independence and being able to live according to their own standards.

I'm definitely more risk-taking than I used to be, definitely emotional, and a realist. I think I'm pragmatic but not very organized at all.  Funny, there's nothing in either that says "cynical bastard" or "total smart-ass".  Reading these descriptions I think I am still an INTJ with latent ISTP tendencies.
