A Good Night with Walker
Playing "shish" with Walker tonight-
his first pretty much
played right
card game.
Princess Fish-
Jasmine,
Snow White,
Ariel,
Cinderella,
Belle,
Sleeping Beauty,
Mulan.
"My girls"
he calls them.
"Mommy have
Ulan?"
He asks,
all seriousness,
grasping slippery new cards
in his fat little
sausage fingers
with the tell-tale
bent pinkys.
"No Belle mommy-
go shish".
Go shish.
My miracle for today-
A full ten minutes of playing
a REAL game
with my 8 year old
angel face struggling to manage
"go shish" and "ga wa I wated, go gen."
A Good Night tonight
with Walker.
