This summer, from June 27th to July 2nd, CheeseART will once again hold court at the majestic Castello di Donnafugata in Ragusa, Sicily. This unique, biennial gathering of food producers, researchers, media personalities, and foodies aims to “integrate scientific research with traditional food production methods” for the improvement of foods, but also to “underline the values of traditional production methods by showcasing a variety of dairy and other Mediterranean food products”.
In addition to the many interesting seminars and activities scheduled for this year’s CheeseART, the organizers have also planned a number of events to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of the renowned Sicilian writer Gesualdo Bufalino. Literature and food in an enchanting setting: what more could you possibly ask for?
